  1. i would check into it.  a good insurance co like state farm may let that slip, but a lower budget one may look at that as a reason not to help you at accident time.

  2. Beware?? Your mom's ins co may not be licensed  in the state you now live it.

    Check with her agent.

  3. the only chance of that being ok is if you are away at college, and even then your mom needs to notify her company because not all of them allow this.

  4. Are you in school??  I went to school in MA and my parents lived in Wisconsin, but it wasn't an issue because I was in school.  I would definatly look into it though, because different states have different rules.

  5. I don't believe that thi is ok.  If you move out of state you must have your own insurance policy, and it must be from a company that covers you in that state.

    I've had good results here...

    Good Luck.

  6. Depends on the situation.  You could be covered if you're away at school, but I'd be careful.  If you don't report your new location and you have an accident, they can refuse to pay for material misrepresentation.  Have your mom check her policy jacket for the info or call her agent and ask what the deal is.

You also want to be careful residing in one State and having tags on your car for another....you could get pulled over and cited for it.
