  1. "The first six intitiatives are neither about nor for the people of California. The first six are about big business and the business-backed Governor. Take the power back and vote NO on Propositions 73 through 78. Vote Yes on Propositions 79 and 80 which restores power to the people and stops big business from profiting too much at our expense."—MoveOn member Josephine Webb, San Francisco, CA

  2. they are mostly the dregs of out society..hilldeon and osoma love them...

  3. MoveOn,org is an attack dog organization supported by and supporting of the Democrats.

Unions also almost universally support the Democratic Party, though not all of their members do.

Should a law pass that requires Unions to get permission from each of its members before donating THEIR money to a political party, it would reduce the donations by the amount of their republican membership, as well as the amount collected from union members that simply feel they have better things to do with *their own money* than contribute to a political party.

It is natural then that the attack dog of the Democratic party would oppose legislation that would reduce donations to it.

Personally, I would be quite angry if someone forcibly took my money and donated it to a political party which I opposed without my permission.
