Movie Theater in Hanoi?

Question

Is there a movie theater complex in Hanoi?

P.S. To answer Ong Jon question to why I ask questions and never intent to go to VN. The truth is, I was in southern part of VN in 2005 and love the country ever since. I would like to make another trip but this time I plan to travel the whole country and possibly thinking of living in VN after retirement. Why would I want to waste time asking questions without any intention of going back?

I love movies. A dozen of theatres in Ha Noi. Two of them are my favorite : movie complex National Cinema Centre [phone] and Dan Chu. Dan Chu has the best sound system in Ha Noi. Check this http://www.trafest.com/thingtodo?cat=59

i've never seen one ,but i spend most of my time in 1 section of town. i like going to the movies in viet nam and often make a point of going in sai gon [ i know of 3 places] and nha trang. hoi an also has a theather that besides films sometimes has midnight showings of soccer matches[ its very dirty though so bring napkins to wipe the dirt off your seat.].... thats if you ever do go... lol...just kidding , i do know how you feel, when i'm away i cant waite to get back and all i want to do is talk about vn [ makes my friends crazy]... why do you think i'm on this site all the time... hope to see you there

as a hanoian , i do know a few of good movie theaters.

1- vincom tower- an us-run cinema complex that offers new hollywood commercials ...1st priority for movie goers

2- da national cinema - hollywood commercials also..interesting european film weeks organised at times

3- august cinema - recently upgraded....

4- 22 hai ba trung str. cinema maniacs : classic world movies only : e.g: 7 samurai, movies of great directors as fassbinder , wong kar wai...
