What were the movie eras through history?

I know that the silent era came first but what came after that?

After the silent era they started having movies with music scores they would have a pianist or orchestra play music while the movie plays

Next came 'talkies' or 'talking pictures' this was when the films had actual talk in them (1920s)

Next came color (1960s)

Now the new thing is digital. Instead of filming on actual film like they used to do many people now prefer digital camera
