Movies about the Middle Ages?

My daughter is learning about the Middle Ages. Can anyone recommend some good movies that portray the times very well. We would love to see something about famous women around that time but anything will do.

Try watching "Luther" about Martin Luther and the birth of the Protestants.  It's very well done and informative.
