Movies onto itunes?

Question

Does anyone know what format movies have to be in in able to work on itunes? I'm not buying them from the store. So if your just going to suggest that then f*ck you.

The only movie format that I know of that works in iTunes is the format that you get when you buy a movie or rent it from iTunes. You can use Quicktime Player or Windows Media player or flip4mac (if you have a Mac) to show most other movies.
