  1. dark knight or maybe even iron man

  2. First off, it is illegal to charge money for an audience to watch DVD or anything on Betamax and other tape systems, that what the FBI and Interpol warnings on all copyrighted video tapes and DVDs are about. Secondly, I doubt there is anything you could show that would bring in much of an audience. Since people can rent or buy a wide variety of movies, they do and watch them at home, so you really can't compete with video stores. You can't even show pornography, which many minors would probably be willing to pay to see, since they can't legally rent it, but that wouldn't be appropriate for a school event. I'm sure Blackhawk Films still has movies from the Public Domain available, which could be shown legally but those Public Domain movies would consist mostly of silent movies and I don't believe silent movies would draw much of a crowd these days.

I think a car wash or some other traditional way for high school classes to make money would work better than a movie night, even if you didn't have to skirt the legal issue.

  4. Which school,  elementary, middle, or high school?

****  Get a grip Jon Glade!  These are kids trying to raise some money, and I would guess that they are charging for a meal to go along with a free movie.  Take a chill pill before you pop a blood vessel!!****

** And before you respond.... Even if they aren't offering a meal who cares?   Try not to turn them in though,  cause even thinking you're doing the right thing doesn't mean you are.  Right Judas?   Oh,  I'm sorry,  I meant Jon Glade of course.  Oh, and I would have emailed you directly if you had the intestinal fortitude to allow people to email you.  PLEASE feel free to email me your thoughts Jon.
