  1. 10 Things I hate about you.... The Taming of the Shrew

    lol she beat me

There is also O based on Othello

  2. The recent one i know is ten things i hate about you, based off of taming of the shrew,

it's not too recent, but i does have the wonderful heath ledger in it!

  3. In 2000, 10 Things I Hate About You

Based on Taming of the Shrew

  4. How recent? Over the last 20 years, there's been a boom in Shakespeare movies, thanks largely to Kenneth Branagh, who kicked off this wave with his 1989 version of "Henry V." Check the link below, and you'll see that there have been more than 200 Shakespeare adaptations since then. Some are direct adaptations (like the 1996 "Romeo + Juliet", with Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes), others are movies that borrow Shakespeare's plots and set them elsewhere, like 1999's "10 Things I Hate About You" (based on "The Taming of the Shrew") or 2006's "She's the Man" with Amanda Bynes (based on "Twelfth Night"). Anyway, see the link below for a complete list.

  5. -The Tamin of the Shrew was remade into "Ten Things I Hate About You" & "Deliver Us From Eva"

-modern version of Othello simply called "O"

-Romeo and Juliet has a modern version with guns called "Romeo + Juliet"

-same title as the play: A Midsummer Night's Dream, & Much Ado About Nothing

...man, that's all i can think of right now!!
