I'm mostly concerned about my kitchen and living room. The tile colors are a light brown color and my kitchen cabinets are white. both rooms are fairly small so I want to make sure it looks open. I have a southern style so I want my kitchen to feel warm. The decorations I have, have mostly deep reds, tans, browns, yellows and blues. For my living room I'm going to put up some paintings of moose we got from cabelas. The main color in those pictures are maroon, dark green and brown. I have brown furnature. What color would you suggest I paint those walls? The living room and kitchen are pretty much connected so they'll need to flow together. Please help! i'd really like to have the house painted before we move in, which will most likely be in 2 weeks!

  2. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think green like "shagreen" (# 6422) would look terrific in the living room, and then a tan like "buckram binding" (# 0036) for the kitchen.

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
