the school i'm enrolled in now meets state requirements will i be forced to attend one that does not

Try to find if any of the better schools nearby have an "open enrollment" program, where kids that don't live in the district can still attend that school.

If there aren't any, the only other alternatives are private schools in the area or homeschooling.
