Moving/ Chemical to spray on bed?

I will be moving in about a month and the current town house I live in now has a major centipede problem.( I kill at least two a week for the past 9 months.) They are centered in the basement area (since they like cold and dark places) which is where my room is located. I need something that I can spray on my bed and box frame when I move to help make sure none of these guys come with us. I would like something that is not very dangerous since I will be sleeping on this bed.

Prefer something I can spray before loading the bed into the moving truck and put in the new house a couple of hours later.Any suggestions?

  1. Go to the grocery store and buy a bug fogger.  I think we use Raid foggers.  Open up all of your drawers and closet doors so the fumes can get everywhere where the centipedes might hide.  Keep the bedroom door closed to contain the fumes in the room.  You'll have to air the room out for a while before you can go in and get your stuff out.  But this is an easy way to get rid of even the bugs you can't see.
