Hm I'm been wondering about moving to London and I live in the US. So I was wondering... whats the complications with moving to a new place [foreign] and how can you get afloat while most of your documents is in the US?

  1. The biggest complication of moving from the US to the UK is always going to be visa issues, depending on if you're a student or a professional. I'm not sure what your case is but if you're a student or recent graduate you might try the Bunac program for a 6 month working visa (www.bunac.org). Otherwise some of the key things are basic moving problems: cell phone, establishing credit, bank accounts, etc.
