Moving QBB data

Question

I have QuickBooks Basic 2003 on my desktop with an OS of Windows 98. I want to move all that data to my laptop which runs on Windows XP. I have recently installed QuickBooks EasyStart 2008 on that laptop. I have also purchased a USB external floppy disk drive, a product of RetailPlus, if that matters. I have been able to download that data onto formatted floppys. However, I can't get past that point. Thank you so very much in advance.
