Hi how would i move a downstairs bathroom upstairs and what is the average cost and what does it consist of? UK only please.

It would be fairly simple if your hot water tank & pipes are nearby.

You do need an expert in to do this so shop around for best price. Also go for a reputable firm in your area.

Easy enough if it is above the existing one - you need to run the water supplies and drainage to the new area, and arrange for some ventilation. Not hugely expensive - if you choose a standard suite, plastic or steel bath, and don't go mad with the finishes, you could do it for about a grand - depending on how much of the plumbing/drainage you are able to do yourself and how complicated the route is. Alterations to drainage should involve a Building Regs application, so you need to allow for fees for that.
