this is probably a very stupid question but I'll ask anyway..

I'm moving to france for a year, and leaving in 3 weeks. there are a lot of issues i need help with (banking info/finding a job/paperwork).

Which consulate do i contact? the french consulate in the Uk, or the UK consulate in france?

  1. go to the french embassy in the uk, they will help you out

get it sorted before you leave

  2. you want to contact the french consulate in your area (UK) beofre you go because  they will help you all the information before you depart and i'm sure it will be a lot less stressful for you to have an idea of what type of banking account/paperwork etc will be instore for you when you arrive.
