Question:

Moving abroad... shipping advice?

My wife and I are moving to South Korea (from Los Angeles) for a year. Does anyone have advice on a good way to ship things over there? We don't have furniture or anything, but probably just about a small car full of stuff that we'll box up.

Can you pay extra to put it on your flight as luggage? Or is it better to just ship it separately? What are some good, affordable methods?

  1. You can just pay extra on the flight than shipping them separately. It may be even costlier to send them by air separately. If you will send by sea, it may be troublesome and it will take about a month.
