Moving an apartment from Toronto to Vancouver,,, tips?

We are moving an apartment full of stuff from Toronto to Vancouver this summer. Anyone have any tips. Best price on a moving company... buy a used cube van... where to advertise to hook up with someone else...???? HELP

Don't use U-Haul whatever you do. Have you thought about renting a cube van from someone like Penske or Budget? Their trucks tend to be reliable, unlike the **** U-haul uses. See what they'd charge, consider the cost of fuel and/or accommodation for the trip. Call reputable moving companies and get quotes. I wouldn't buy a used cube van because then you have to sell it when you get there and being from Ontario it will probably be rusty.
