Moving and homeschooling in New York city

Hi,

Me and my family are in France right now. We are moving there in the next 6-12 months. And my mum doesnt know which homeschooling company to choose for us. Because if we chose a French one there would be a larger postage cost, and my mum doesnt know any in America so if someone could post some please?

And also if someone could tell me if homeschooling is ok in NY, like you don't get any problems with the social services, because we have a few problems with them right now in france, and my mum was wanting to get away from that stuff.

I have not yet found a free online charter in New York. You can still home school if you choose. There are affordable online schools that can help you. The best place to go for information regarding homeschooling in NY, is LEAH. It is Christian, not Catholic, but they provide you with sample letters, forms for your yearly plan, etc. They have manuals that they can send you with everything you could possibly want to know about homeschooling in NY.

There are some online charters that are affordable and you can always buy a home school program to get all of the curriculum that you need
