Moving companies in Dallas?

I am moving into a new apartment and I need a good recommendation for a mover. All I have seen online are negative comments about supposedly "reliable, insured, bonded, etc." companies. I don't need the cheapest, but I don't want to pay $1000 either. I am only moving about 8 miles. Any help would be appreciated.

Firehouse Movers.

They are reasonably priced off-duty fireman.

I've used them and a friend has used them - all with good results.
