  1. If you are the tenant, the one whose name appears on the tenancy agreement, then youare entitled to do a mutual exchange. The local council do not have to re-house you if you are just lodging with your mother and its her tenancy.

You can move to a new town and put your name on their social housing register, but it does not mean you will be housed.

  2. Yes you can apply for council housing. They may not give you something in a nice area, but it will get you out of the situation with your mom. Your best bet is to work and rent private, but if you are short on options then apply to the council.

As I said in your last question, far away sounds better.

Hope it goes well for you.

  3. yes you can sighn on any council but if you have no family connections in the area you would be waiting a long time to get acomadation of them. i know this as my son tried

  4. Why not get of your butt and go work like everyone else who is paying for your council house . I'm 16 & i work . There's no excuse.

  5. yeah babe you can ! x
