Moving cross-country...how?

Question

Im interested in moving cross country, from Delaware to Washington state.

So now the details. How do I accomplish this? what should I expect cost wise? how should I move my belongings, and everything else I haven't thought of.

any online resources or sage-like wisdom /experience this community has to offer. Thanks!

i moved myself cross country (NJ - CA) 23 years ago (at age 32) seeing what i could have been paid someone else to move me vs. moving myself (22' truck with a friend helping), i saved huge $ by diy.  helped that i had a job waiting, though.

I had 2 friends who did this. They bought a big van and diy job. Check your license if you fancy this as its an experience.
