Moving domain from yahoo smallbusiness to google?

I want to try Google apps for your domain with my yahoo hosted smallbusiness domain/email, but I'm worried that I'm in over my head with CNAME and messing with DNS settings... is there a clear, easy step by step way to switch my hosting from Yahoo to Google? Has anyone switched and regretted it? Am I doing the right thing? Just think the tools offered by Google Apps will be great for our organization. Any and all opinions welcome!

I wouldn't, for the simple reason, I don't trust google.  For one thing, I've used their adsense on my web site and the ads on my home page were never related to my content.  For another, I created a Google Group and the promised options were not what was promised.  it was the pits, and google would not let me delete the group.  It's still out there.  I went to Yahoo! Groups and it was just what was promised.

I've searched for better web hosters, and yes, most of them have better options and cheaper fees, but do they deliver?  

Google is not even ranked in the top ten web hosting list.  Yahoo!
