Moving drivers license question?

im from oklahoma and have my permit and cant get my license intil august and im moving in july what do i do to get my license.

Be careful once you leave OK... other states may have different requirements for driving on a permit, and will expect you to follow their rules.  Contact the Michigan licensing folks *now*, explain your situation, and ask what you should do.

You might even have to get a Michigan permit (which may be subject to different restrictions) and wait even longer to get a Michigan license.

Under no circumstances should you move to Michigan and expect your out-of-state permit (it's not yet a license) to be looked at kindly if you get pulled over.

The point is that "ignorance of the law is no excuse".  You need to take the initiative to learn what the rules are so you can be sure to follow them.

I'm from oklahoma also, If your just moving to another town, then go get your license and use your new address. If your moving into another state, wait go get your license in the other state. Just keep your permit and go get it in august in that state. You dont have to do anything special.

either in oklahoma or resubmit to michigan dmv to obtain

new permit .
