Moving from Arizona to San Diego, is San Diego a nice place to live?

I lived in the Phoenix/Mesa arizona my entire life (19 yrs) and I do not like it. Way too hot for me so I am going to move to San Diego. Is San Diego a nice place to live? I have gone there on trips before and I loved it! I want to get an apartment near imperial beach. How is it there?

I'd try PB and OB before Imperial beach. Yes, San diego is the greatest place to live you'll love it!

San Diego is a great place to live.  Not only is the weather perfect, but there are so many fun things to do here.

Apartments near the beach are much higher than those to the east.  Going south you will find more affordable places as well.

Many young people prefer to live in Pacific Beach and Ocean Beach.  You could look for a roommate at http://www.craigslist or get an idea of how much rent will be.
