Moving from Melbourne to Queensland?

I'm thinking of moving from Melbourne to south-east Queensland and I want to get a rough idea of how much a removalist will cost to move a house full of furniture. If you've done this move recently, how much did it cost you and any recommendations for a reliable and cheap removal company?

When I moved from "Sydney" to SE QLD a few years ago, I received quotation between $2,000 and $5,000, for a standard 3 bed house of furniture etc.

I ended up using a Brisbane based company, and they brought my stuff up as a return load for them.  I can't find their name now though.
