Moving from the UK to the US. Any info?

So my boyfriend is looking to move over to the United States from the United Kingdom, but we are not sure how long this could take. Does anyone know a website where we could find this information, or knows any information on this topic? If we were engaged would this make any difference?

Me too, I wish I was moving from the US to the UK. You should think twice before moving to the US, the choice is still yours but consider some things. The US does NOT have free health care so you have to get insurance that will, in the end, deny your claim and they won't pay for an operation ect.( watch the move Sicko to get an idea ) Also, it's not just the health care, we do not have free college education. To give you an idea about education here, 60% of Americans CANNOT find the UK on a globe! The government is corrupt here, and I mean corrupt.
