Moving from uk to usa?

hi everyone, wanted opinions of americans and british people who have moved to america. i am currently doing my A levedls and after doing a degree hopefully, after tht i will hopefully look into moving into america and teaching in an elementary school. the main question mainly is becuase over here we have free medical care (nhs) how expensive is it over in america to get health insurance. for someone who like cold winters and warm (not hot) summers which state would you suggest. finall for people who have lived both in america and england which do you prefer and why

  1. That's a very loaded question, but I will try my best to help you.

    I live in the US right now, have never lived in the UK, but have been there for vacation.

    1. That all depends on which state you live in, and how healthy you are, (if you smoke have alot of preexisting conditions stuff like that). My guess would be approx. $150 a month for just you, if you have kids or a wife expect to pay a lot more.

    2. I live in South Dakota, we have very cold winters, 10-20 degrees F on average days. Summers are pretty warm, about 90 degrees F is the highest we'll get here. It's a great state. Cheap cost of living, and wages can be very good.

    3. As far as living here or there, that is a matter of preference, but I have to say, when I was over in England everything was so godly expensive, I really don't know how people afford to live there! I loved being over there though it was all very beautiful. But America is beautiful too.
