Moving ireland and on benefits?

can anyone please tell me how can i get hold of the benefits in ireland?

I am wanting to move to ireland closer to dublin as i can but will need to go on housing benefit- i understand they dont work the same as england so how could i get in touch with someone who deals with benefit claims and how i can find out about housing beneft over there please?

  1. dont no if u can do without going in person i.e get the house make sure they take rent receipts.

    Depending on how long you've been receiving it, you might be able to transfer your DLA over here. One of the links below gives more information.

    Be prepared - Ireland, and especially near/in Dublin, is very, very expensive.

  5. Don't bother coming over if you're gonna scrounge off the state, stay where you are.

    Sorry that's a bit harsh but people coming over here and not contributing to society and sponging really p*sses me off.
