If you have a parent or grandparent from an EU country, try to get that nationality for yourself, much easier in the long run. Less messing with visas, but you would need a residency permit.

Bring warm clothes. And no, I don't mean long trousers, I mean proper jackets, scarves, woolly jumpers, hats, good shoes.

Finish your university education before coming here, and get your degree. Much more useful! You'll be much more employable.
