Moving out of state with a lease...?

My car is leased under my mothers name. I am moving out of state and need to get new tags for that state. How will that work if the car is registered in her name and we are going to have different addresses?

check you lease agreement they may not allow this.

Your mother is the only one who can register and get tags in another state, if the lease is in her name. Your mother also needs to talk to the lease company because the sales tax charged each month on the lease will have to be changed to the new state.
