Moving to Amsterdam next year. How's the rave/dance scene?

Are there many good dance clubs still around?

How easy would it be to get good Es/MDMA? (preferably not off the street)

Are the smart shops still operating?

How has the recent smoking ban affected the coffeeshops? Are people sticking to the no tobacco in joints rule?

So you are moving to Amsterdam next year, with the intention of doing nothing other than dance, buy illegal drugs and smoke weed. Just the type of inhabitant that the Netherlands needs (along with all other countries I suppose). I think a 'reality check' would be in order now before the time comes for you to move.

Are you rich, or do you intend to work there?

Clubbing scene in Amsterdam is known as one of the best in the world..

There are still smart shops operating, but they don't sell magic mushrooms anymore, it's illegal now..

Also smoking in coffee shops is illegal now..
