Moving to Canada or the USA???

does anybody know if you live in Canada for a certain amount of years you can automatically live in the USA like get a auto visa?

any advice on new york or LA for places to live? low in crime rate ? advice only thanks

  1. No, everyone who is not a natural US citizen has to apply for a visa, which can take years and, I'd assume, can get expensive. I've seen a few posters on here who know quite a bit about visas and the application process so hopefully they show up to offer some advice. I have no clue what the process of getting into Canada is like.

    As far as New York and Los Angeles it depends on what you're looking for. Low crime rate? Good luck in either of those cities unless you make excellent money (100,000+ at least, right?). Both are highly populated which will automatically equal more crime. In addition, both are homes to large impoverished communities.

    And since you're not from the US, and most foreigners seem to not realize it - there are thousands of beautiful, low crime, affordable places in the States that aren't abbreviated LA or NY. ;-D
