Moving to Detroit area. 7 mile and ryan area in the northeast side. Is it a nice area? How is Pershing HS?

it is ok , not enough shops ,,it is  still a  need to lock your car in the garage at night,,and have doors and windows locked, nieghborhood ,

the high school is good,,but all Detroit schools need improvement,,

this is a decent area. i lived on binder between outer derive in 8 mile and i loved my house. Pershing happen,s to be one of the schools that i personally haven't heard negative things about. are you from Detroit or are you moving from outer state?

I am not a parent but a former student of Pershing Class Of 2006. Pershing is and will always be the best school in Detroit. The teachers don't just teach its more like a family they aren't just there because they get paid to be they are there to help and I personally thank the teachers for the tremendous amount of effort used to make sure that every student at john j Pershing high school gets the best education
