Moving to Houston, TX. What are some good New York sports bars where I can watch the Giants and the Yankees?

Any sports bars that cater specifically to New York City Sports fans in Houston, TX?

Oh God no!

You're far better off getting Dish Network and watching WPIX (or whatever station shows the Yankees now).

EDIT: I am not yanking your chain. New York sports teams are especially UNpopular here.

You'll find some bar, like the Score Card, with a Yankee/Met game on one of it's many screens, but you're not going to find a large group of New Yorkers here. We spread out, joined up, and blended in. Why is that? Because Houstonians are from EVERYWHERE. My best friend is from Chicago, another from Detroit, another from Virginia, another from Israel... you get the picture. You may never know if you're standing next to a New Yorker or not.

In addition, please do try and meet some of the locals. You'll make plenty of friends, no matter what sports team you support, if you refrain from saying things like, "We did it this way in New York" or "It's better in New York."

h**l, you should see some of the college football rivalries down here, especially Texas A&M versus University of Texas. There are a ton of sports bars here, but most all are local.

I don't know of a particular sports bar in houston with an emphasis on New York teams, but try this website for homesick NY tranplants living in Houston.  They arrange meetups for get togethers for X-New Yorkers.  This just might be the welcomed taste of home that you'll need.

Ummmm no! Your in houston!! Yankees are not very popular here.. well your especially not going to find a bar that caiters to just new yorkers.. ha ha!!! Sorry!
