Just wondering, if you are a licensed nurse, would you be able to move and work in Ireland? What are the requirements and is it difficult?

  1. hi you

there is a nursing school here in cork city i know they have a web site but i am not to sure what it is if you look it up they will put you right on all you want to know

  2. Now is the wrong time to try and get a job in Healthcare in Ireland, as the HSE has a recruitment freeze in force. I would wait and see.

  3. I'm not sure if you need an Irish qualification thing or not but you do not want to be a nurse in Ireland! My mum is one and they are over worked and under paid. Obviously it depends on your head sister boss thingy but my mum and her friends are always saying how when they do overtime their boss gives them no thanks but if they decline to do overtime then their boss gives them the cold shoulder.

I'm not a nurse (obviously!) and I don't know about nurses in other countries, so what I described could be a standard thung for nurses!!
