  1. Your wife can get all the information about working in Mexico, when she APPLIES FOR HER FM-3... You both HAVE already applied for the FM-3... right?  The Mexican consulate people are very helpful about filing for the FM-3 and getting all the necessary paperwork to get your vehicles and possessions over the border... Since you will be working on assignment in Mexico, then you should not have a problem proving that you have an income of $1500 for the two of you.

What I really have to wonder is why ANYONE from AmeriKa would want to move to one of the MOST crime ridden cities in Mexico

  2. There are some very nice areas of Juarez, but depending on the location of your job, you might want to consider living in El Paso TX and commuting.  I would suggest contacting a Real Estate agent who deal in rentals to advise you.

It would not be easy for your wife to find temporary work, as the Mexican government doesn't want immigrants taking jobs that can be held by Mexican citizens.

  3. You've heard of the "muertas de Juarez"?

    your wife will be next

    xD

  4. I would listen to Marci....................

Temp. work for your wife - NOPE. No FM3 card and work in Mexico is non existent - you will see.

Border towns are being taken over with the drug wars so be careful. As long as your not involved in drugs your fine but crime has no limits - be careful.

Look at Craigslist Mexico - google it - it has a housing section but consider living in the US and commuting.
