I asked this ? yesterday but i'm afraid i didn't word it right. So here we go.

There is a company in L.A. called Kids! Management. You have to go to L.A. to meet with them and if they like you, you get signed and they find you extras work. My mom suggested that if i do get signed with them that we rent an apartment and live in L.A. for the summer so i can be close to work. Good idea or not?

  1. I've never heard of them but so long as they aren't asking you for any money upfront (for them to find you work) then i wouldn't have reason to doubt their legitimacy.

Your mom is really willing to re-locate to L.A. for the summer to help you persue a career in acting? Wow... most parents wouldn't do that.

Am not going to comment on whether or not i think most parents "should" do that.

If she has the time and money to afford such a thing, then i think it could be a unique adventure for you (and her). But if she's barely scraping things together to make ends meet and ya'll are pinning financial security of the hopes and dreams of a lucrative acting career, then maybe this isn't the best choice.

At any rate... best of luck to you!

  2. yeah you should go for it, stay in LA check it out.. maybe while your there look for auditions and go on them too.

  3. go to actinginfo.blogspot.com and talentagents.blogspot.com for any info u neeed for agenns go to the talent site click table of contents and click city nearest u n search around and u will learn alot but always remember a real agency is free they only get 10-20% of ur income!
