  1. sorry, I may be a Londoner but I don't know Stepney well

(PS : Keenan, what's so funny about the postcode??)

  2. hehe what a wierd post code.

  3. that's east London

    stepney/shadwell area.

its got a good atmosphere that area i live just north of you in hackney and i like going down there.

it can be noisy at night and bad things do happen but its a good area overall.

    enjoy it

  4. East London is not the prettiest part of the city and not the posh end.....can be grimey with no parks and some rough pubs...althoiugh it is still close to the city and easy access to Shoreditch - Whitechapell area which are great for night life and easy to get home....

  5. That's  "Post Code" of you want to talk English English...

Not a high class area, but not a gang-ridden slum (at least in my day)

I had a house-share near Mile End tube for a while.

You'd be close to a tube station, and only half-a mile to the Docklands Light Railway (if you need it), which is pretty good.

Being that close in was great for both the City and the West End... Theatre, cinemas, parks... everything really.

I cycled to work at Marble Arch.

But crowed, noisy, dirty.  The classic trade-off.

    Probably better when you're young.

I enjoyed it in my 20's but was very glad to move out to Cambridge when I hit 30.
