I am taking my 98 corolla (in decent condition) to Saginaw michigan with me, would that be good enough for driving in snow there. I havent seen people buying these cars over there.

No experience of driving in snow, Only needed for city commute like 10-12 mls /day (its a small place).

  1. Your Corolla should be okay for most weather. The first snowfall, there are usually lots of accidents so be very careful. I suggest practicing driving in snow with a more experienced driver.

Southern Michigan does get a few snowfalls where you may not want to drive, but cities usually salt the roads to keep depths down.

  2. the car will survive...but the driver of a toyota might not in saginaw.

  3. It is as good as any other vehicle. My friend (here in Michigan) has been driving a Corolla for 10+ years. It is about the same year as yours.

  4. No they do not let Toyota's in Michigan
