Moving to New Zealand, need help with furniture???

Hi. My partner and I are looking to re-locate to NZ from Australia and will be renting when we get there. Was wondering what stores are around to help quickly and simply furnish a place. In Oz we have fantastic furniture that allows you to fully furnish bedroom, lounge and dining for under $2,000.00. Is there any place like that in the Wellington area???
