Moving to Puerto Rico- to ship car or buy one there?

I'm not sure if I should ship a car or buy one in Puerto Rico.

Seems awfully expensive to ship one with all of the taxes etc.

See if your car is worth the pain of having to pay the expenses to ship it to Puerto Rico. If your car is well-mantained an it's worth the shipping costs, do it. Puerto Rico is a great country to live, but cars tend to have a shorter live due to the poor road conditions.

However, you will be able to get a good deal on any used car dealer in Puerto Rico if you do your research.
