  1. Your best bet is to ring the Irish embassy in Australia and they will advise you what type of visa would be more suited to you,and you will more than likely also need your parents consent because of your age.

Do you have people to stay with when you do get to Ireland?

When I was living in Ireland my baby sister who was 15 nearly 16 at the time came to visit me,and when she arrived in Ireland, immigration had tried to ring me  to ask me 100 and 1 questions about where my sister was staying but I was already on my way to pick my sister up at Cork airport. When I arrived at the airport,an immigration officer was waiting for me,just to make sure that my sister really had some where to stay and that she would be well taken care of because of her age.I asked the immigration officer what would have happened if she had just come by herself, they said that they would have more than likely had to have contacted our parents to see if they knew where she was,and if they didn't know, they would have had to send her back home to Australia.

If you need any more advice feel free to email me.

  2. You will need a visa to travel to the Republic of Ireland; google the Irish consulate in your nearest city for further details, (i.e. type in Irish Consulate Sydney/wherever is closesr to you) should be around 3000 of your australian dollars for a ticket and you'll have to stop in london because i don't think any airlines operate a dublin-asia-australia route.
