Moving to a large city?

I currently live in a SMALLLLLLLL town in Central Wisconsin and I'm planning on leaving next January to go to college. I want to go to college for nursing, a technical school.

basically, I NEED OUT! I need to move to a BIGGG city, with lots to do and friendly people! But I also need it to be safe!

Any recommendations? Right now the only 2 places I would consider would be Milwaukee and Minneapolis.

  1. If you want warmer weather, come down south.

I live in Charlotte, NC and I love it.

You could consider Atlanta, GA or Miami, FL.

or if you want to stay up north, then how about NYC.

look up stuff online about these places and try and find a city that would fit you.

    good luck.

  2. Consider going to school in Pittsburgh.  The University of Pittsburgh has a great nursing program.  Pittsburgh is a city, but not huge.  Although it's on the east coast, the friendly people give it a midwest kind of vibe.

There's lots to do here, and Pittsburgh is a very safe city.  I am also from a very small town and I found the transition to Pittsburgh (I went to Carnegie Mellon University) pretty easy.

    Good luck!

  3. go to Chicago or NEW YORK which is the best city by far :]

  4. All citys have a degree of danger...but then again so do all small towns.  it all depends on where you choose to live.  i would suggest chicago over new york.  in my experience the people are nicer there.
