Me and my family are thinking about moving to america for about 6 months. We live in ireland now and all have irish passports and have nothing to do with america. We do have some family over there. But we would only be over there for 6 months and then coming home to ireland. We dont have greencards or anything like that.

Is it possible that we could do this?

  1. You need a visitors visa.  It is good for 6 months.

  2. yeah - as long as ur legal immigrants with passports.

  3. America is a Continent!

To what country in America are you moving to?

  4. Sure tourists are welcome to visit for extended periods especially to visit family!

Edit: Chief Joe Please note that every other country in South and North America have names that do not include America. Please get off your high horse because it makes you look like a complete nitwit rather than a half wit. It is the United States of America hence Americans. Brazil has Brazilians, Mexico has Mexicans, Canada has Canadians etc.

  5. Yeah, come freeload here like the rest of the immigrant trash.

  6. Go on a holiday visa and stay on.It'd difficult because the feds are checking everything since the bombing in new york in 2001.Maybe Australia would be a better bet.America is way overrated anyway.Loads of poor people there. Not like in the movies, everyone lives in a mansion.Yeah right.
