Hey, I am just starting into college now. I live in S.C. but want to move very badly. I am hoping to go to school for two years, then maybe move. I want to move somewhere with a colder climate. I am thinking about Missouri. I have never been there but have researched it there and believe I would love it. I am just concerned about how... Job, Housing, etc. I don't know what to do, I just know I want to get out of here. I am a conservative, country boy and would be interested in being a sales rep one day. Ideas, experience, help please?

  1. HEY!!! i used to live in Michigan all my life and i loved it there. the summers are warm so it is good to swim in the Great Lakes but the winters are cold so it is good for snowmobiling and skiing or snowboarding. Plus in Michigan there is a lot of small towns in the northern part of the Lower Peninsula and in the Upper Peninsula it is very rural. As for for the jobs and housing i am not sure but i loved it there.

  2. Missouri is a bellwether state; whoever it votes for to become President usually gets it.  Outside of Saint Louis, and parts of KC, most of it is pretty conservative.  I'd personally go with Springfield or Joplin for your sales rep. intentions, but it might still not be cold enough for you.  If you are willing to risk tornadoes, try Saint Joseph.  It seemed pretty when I drived through there years ago, and it probably has plenty of cold weather during the winter.
