  1. Queensland has the best hot weather along with Northern Territory and Western Australia and check out there .coms. I think each city has a com address or net and, use au at the end of the address. Look in the SydneyMorningHerald.com.au or Fairfaxmedia.com.au

    Dailytelegraph.com.au

    Bigpond.net.au

    yellowpages.com.au ,

    sydneytaxis.com.au, Melbournetaxis.com, any capital city.

    Our $1.00 buys 46pence. Gasoline is 1.55alitre - diesel is 1.80.

    drive.com.au , ebay.au check real estate,

  2. Hmm. who knows.

I think the person before me has it correct.

    Good luck

  3. As a police officer, can you not ask for a transfer to Australia? Therefore being sponsored and granted residency for you and you're family?

If you are going to be accepted as a skilled worker then it will base upon you're position. You're hubby wont have a problem getting work but as you said is not 'skilled'.

I suggest talking to the relevant people at your current job and see this site http://www.immi.gov.au

You may not get a transfer but you should be able to walk into a position with the Australian police which would then enable you're residency.

  4. being a cab driver will not give you the points needed to qualify or a skilled worker visa

check out the point system test and see how you go
