Moving to california? :)?

Question

im 16 from london and iv just left school last month and iv just had my gcse results back. my mum said we aint moving untill i leave school. so now iv left we are moving there next month. i heard you guys stayed in school till your 18. so does this mean id have;to go back 2 school when i move out there untill im 18 ??

man i cant go back 2 school i cant stand it!! would i be able 2 go 2 college or sumfin?

are you moving to san diego? I believe you would have to still go to school. unless your school transcripts are equal to a student who graduated from a traditional high school in the U.S.

well I'm not sure what a gcse is ..maybe its what we call here a GED (general education diploma)....I hate to sound prejudice but many Americans see that as a loser diploma...a cheap piece of paper....its like a quitters diploma.....and with that you certainly wouldn't be able to get into Oxford back home right?! and you couldn't get into Harvard here....with a GED you can go to a technical school or a 2 year Community College where you would get your Associates Degree...but with jobs tight and the economy bad now...a 2 year college diploma isn't so great either...but if you only have a GED you usually cant go into a good school right away you have to work your way up....but it obviously sounds like you hate school...too bad..you wont get far unless you hit the lottery or work at Mc Donald's for $8 and hour....California can be very $$$$!..and why would  your mother want you to quit school?! wow!..and no you graduate in your 12th year of school as a senior..and in the month of May...so most people are 17 or just turning 18..............good luck

Are you sure you finished school?? You cant type for anything in this world.

As long as you have your diploma equivalent you wont have to go back to school and you should be able to apply for college.

Obviously you should go back to school so you can learn how to spell and use proper grammer.
