  1. I live on the Gold Coast. If you haven't been here . you will love it. There are just so many nice places here. Pacific pines is good . Housing here has gone up a lot over the last few years. Take a good look around . It depends what you can afford . http://www.gold-coast-real-estate-guide....

If you are renting you won't get much under $350 a week. If you are buying average price would be $500,000 and you can pay millions. So give yourself time to look at the GoldCoast first. Don't get sucked in by one real-estate person. Shop around.

  2. nice place to live BUT with you coming from Scotland you may find it too hot & humid for you in the summer time

  3. if your going to live on the gold coast- nice choice of residence. BUT the gold coast is pretty wild. especially near surfers paradise. so be prepared with pepper spray. haha. its where most aussies like to spend time. nothing like a warm summers day spent on the beach in the cool ocean and yellow sand. also be prepared for the aussie bogan language. you know what im talking about. lol. it would be a good choice for young families because its near our awesome beaches.

i live  in brisbane and LOVE the gold coast. good shops, friendly people and beautiful beaches.
