Moving to newcastle and need to know the area?

hi everyone, i m moving to newcastle soon, i kind of need to know what i can do in newcastle, know the area and also meet new people so can anyone please talk to me through msn? wbxx

Hi Darren - from your profile I suspect you may be coming to university? If so you'll find out about city very quickly. If not, what are you going to be in Newcastle for, how old are you and what are your interests? There really is something for all tastes (god and bad) in Newcastle.

Theres so much to do but heres some of the best...

Theres a big complex with an Empire cinema in and loads of restaurants and bars and a casino. Its good fun =]

There are sooo many nightclubs and bars , its what were famous for ( :

Theres loads of fields everywhere for football and  stuff.

Jesmond, Gosforth, Heaton and Byker are a few of the main places in Newcastle. Byker is a bit charvy though.

You'll meet loads of people in the bars, everyone is pretty friendly aswell,

Also theres the quayside which is really nice and new-looking with some nice bars and places to go.

Just outside of Newcastle theres the Metro Centre which is one of the biggest shopping centres in Europe, its massive. You can drive there or get the bus from town [not sure which one]
