  1. For 3-400 per month you wont get a flat in the city centre unless you are sharing, I would reccomend areas in gateshead which is just over the famous tyne bridge. areas include Bensham, deckham, teams, or if you want to be on the same side of the water as city centre try heaton, byker, walker.

Try www.icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk for jobs and clssifieds

  2. Some places to try in Newcastle to live:

Try Sandyford first very close tp city centre. Then maybe Heaton and also Jesmond (rather nice and possibly more expensive).

Just go to Rightmove.co.uk and look for rented accomodation then type some of those places in.

Sandyford is close and its a decent area.

  3. You could try sandyford, heaton, jesmond, gosforth, which are usually at the higher end of the market.  Best thing to do is if you see a flat go and have a look at the area as there are good and bad points to every area but in the east end there is Byker, Walker and even Wallsend, all ok and probably the cheapest places you could get, lots of regen work in Walker with new houses.  May be easier to live on a metro line though as buses are usually hit and miss.

  4. the city centre is expensive but there are metro trains at just about all the local towns and it much cheaper

    here a link for classifieds

  5. Try using the classified search on Findzer.  It searches many of the classifieds sites like kijiji, yahoo.classifieds, craigslist, ect.

  6. like most people said u will not a city centre flat for that price unless you r sharing i live in a place called shiremoor which is 7 miles from town but only 17Min's on the metro (that's a local train if u didn't know)and i pay £346 a mth rent for a 2 bed room flat council tax is £706 a year places to avoid most of the west end elswick benwell scotswood most of fenham some parts OK and walker in the east end of town our local paper is the newcastle evening chronicle and the flats r u in every day u can get the paper on line check out the paper on every thurs and u could also find a job as that is job section day need any thing else just email me
